For companies

In complex environments, leaders are required to make decisions without having all the information. Outcomes are uncertain, pressure is constant, and responsibility is real. My keynotes translate lessons from long duration, human powered expeditions and high-altitude mountaineering into practical insights for leadership, decision making and performance under pressure.

Drawing from expeditions across, continents, oceans, deserts and six of the Seven Summits, I speak about conscious decision making, responsibility, adaptability and resilience over the long term. Not from theory, but from situations where choices had real consequences and quitting was often the easier option.

This is not a motivational success story. It is an honest look at preparation versus reality, leadership when plans fail, and how to stay effective when conditions change and pressure accumulates.

Key themes include:

  • Decision-making under uncertainty
  • Leadership responsibility and accountability
  • Adapting strategy when reality changes
  • Performing during long, demanding projects
  • Teamwork, trust and vulnerability under pressure

Each keynote is tailored to the audience and context, with clear parallels to corporate leadership, management teams and longterm organisational challenges.
